FOSTER AN ANIMAL IN NEED
FOSTER A LIFE
Fostering
gives
a
dog
or
cat
somewhere
calm
to
wait
while
we
find
their
home.
It
is
one
of
the
most
useful
things
anybody
can
do
for
this
shelter.
WHAT FOSTERING MEANS
A
foster
takes
an
animal
into
their
home
for
a
while
instead
of
that
animal
waiting
in
a
kennel.
Some
need
quiet
after
a
rescue,
some
are
too
young,
some
are
recovering,
and
some
simply
do
better
in
a
house
than
in
a
shelter.
Fostering
is
not
adopting.
The
animal
stays
in
our
care,
and
when
the
right
home
comes
along
they
go
to
it.
How does fostering work?
What would I need to provide?
How long does a foster placement last?
Can I foster if I already have a pet?
Can I adopt the animal I foster?
I would like to foster, what next?
ASK US ABOUT FOSTERING
Tell

about
your

it.
